Assalamualaikum / Hi all. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Here is a picture I took recently in the morning on my way to the bus stop.

I’d been wanting to take a picture like this since months.๐Ÿ’”I’m very satisfied with how it turned out.

I feel one reason I like sharing my pictures is I don’t want people to miss out. And take the time to note small things in life which Allah made for us.

Keep smiling and say SubhanAllah.๐Ÿ’š

Take a look.

Small plant with lovely droplets
I was completely ahmazed by the arrangement of drops on this plant. ๐Ÿ˜

Assalamualaikum /Hi all

As you might know… I’M Sort of obssessed with the sky.

I’m not even joking when I say that sometimes looking at the sky change my mood.

Sometimes the night sky makes me think deep about life. It triggers the emotional side of me.

Here is a picture I took yesterday (and also edited it, I’m honest.๐Ÿ˜‹) I’m trying to improve. Let’s see if it’s actually working.

Sometimes there is no word to truly describe NATURE. Just Say SubhanAllah!๐Ÿ’™

Day 28: Status updateย  — October 28, 2017

Day 28: Status updateย

A very simple post about status update. I use WhatsApp alot and since now it has a way to share your story or your status for 24 hours I use that. Instead of sending people pictures and clips separately.

Be sure to read till the end.

In the morning as I was checking some grouo chats,  I came across a lovely video with the following words:

Thus, I shared it as my status.

In the afternoon, I ended up posting this with a caption.

I really wish I take a picture like this some day. Or similar to it.

It was my DREAM to take a picture like this and I did! In my DREAM. (Which is true.) Now I’m just waiting for that dream to become reality. ๐ŸŒผ

But that’s what’s wrong, am I right? We wish, we dream and then we wait. We don’t do much about it. But the day we push ourselves to do what pleases us and what seemed like a dream we will feel courageous. When we do what we thought we couldn’t is when we realize our might. When we finally do that with time the thought of not doing it seems like a dream. Because of how real our dream becomes on the end because of our struggle.
Here is another status update. I took the picture early morning, it might have fit the prompt glow…maybe? Anyway, here it is and of course with a caption! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Dark soil and grass sunlight
The burried you under darkness but you grew into the light. Be proud of your might.โ™ฅ๏ธ

Day 7: A lost key — October 7, 2017

Day 7: A lost key

With time her thoughts became as dangerous as poison and as dark as a grave, leading her  into a maze with no way out.

Except for one, that was to unlock the door of hope. With the lost key being poetry?which she had forgotten. Yet she picked up the pen filled with ink as dark as her heart and spilled poetry. Letting the white paper soak in her thoughts, emotions and misery and lighting her soul.

Day 1: Angel — October 2, 2017

Day 1: Angel

Zoya from this awesome blog said that I should give the writing prompt a go and here I am. ONE DAY LATE….I know. ๐Ÿ˜

Btw don’t forget to read this lovely post by Safiyah
Last year some people in the University had organised this small activity where you write a note to you someone.Butit could be anything like a ridiculously funny joke, an apology, a confession or simply something sweet for appreciation. BUT the notes had to remain anonymous. The group who orgamised this would send a team memeber to then deliver the mesaage (and any other item that you sent) without saying a word of who it’s from.

I too participated in this and sent note to a lovely friend of mine.As I reached home I soon discovered that she had figured out it was me and was very very happy for what I had written for her.The next day while I was waiting for the Proffessor to make her entry a student whom I’d never seen before came up to me and handed me a small piece of paper. Better late than never, huh?! You guesses it! I got a note  from a friend. Amongst all usual Uni stress and having a bad day, reaching home late etc. this note was something that gave me positive energy and a reason to smile more. Alhamdulillah for such lovely friends. ๐Ÿ’–

Now you must me wondering how is all this related to the word prompt ANGEL.Umm thank you for your patience that you read rill here. Haha! Well, the girl who gave me the note, her name/nickname is Angel. ๐Ÿ˜‡

To say thank you to her I wrote a little something that I’d like to share.
โ€‹Pieces of paper, before me stands.

Unexpected beauty, I did not demand.
Words in mauve, in my hand.

Heart full of joy, oh so Grand.
Given from a friend, I should foever thank.

Because she’s an Angel, of high rank.

For my Mama <3 — January 11, 2016

For my Mama <3

I read They deserve moreย by Hiba on IN THE BLISS OF BROKEN DREAMS.

You all HAVE to read it.It’s a reminder for us all of how our parents deserve so much more than we give them.Keeping them happy is our confirmed ticket to Jannah In sha Allah. ๐Ÿ™‚

Just after commenting on her post,I was reminded of how I had once written a few lines for my mother. They’re r actually nothing,it was just an attempt to describe of how unique and beautiful my mother is. โค

They are just very simple sentences but she liked them. ^^’

I am the pebble. She is the mountain of sweetness.
There are alot of beautiful people on this planet.I can’t ever be thankful enough, because one of them is with me.
When I am lost she is my compass.( I know GPS would be more of this century but I like compass. ๐Ÿ˜› )
She makes me see the white when I see all black.
‘Tears-feeling’s that can’t be bottled in’ a friend had said.Well if my tears are the oceans in this world they still can’t describe how much I love my mother.
Best for last! She loved this one the most!
If I were to give her something big and beautiful.Iโ€™d snatch the full moon from the night sky and plant it in her caring hands but whats the light of the shining moon in front her smiling face.
Food Challenge — December 13, 2015

Food Challenge

Salam/Hi everyone!

Remember I did 3 Day Quotes Challenge previously?

Well, here I am with another sweet challenge. ๐Ÿ˜›

I was nominated for this by the bunnyblog02ย from ย Bunny blogsite.

You should definitely check out his post here.It will make your mouth water, maybe. ^^’

  1. You have to write your feelings not the recipe.
  2. You have to tell the person who is nominating you what is your favourite food(so He/She can also give it a try if they like. ๐Ÿ™‚ )
  3. You have to add a picture of the dish.
  4. You have to nominate 7 persons for this challenge.

My favourite dish is Murgh(Chicken)Pulaou. It is a very common dish in my country.Easy to cook, yummy to eat. I’m sure alot of you out there would have tried it.However, you haven’t tried the one that I have. ๐Ÿ˜‰

That’s because my mother makes THE BEST PULAO in the world (Nazar na lag jai ๐Ÿ™„ warna mera kia hoga :/ so MashaAllah,MashaAllah and Alhamdulillah!)

Ohkay so this lady seriously has magic! โค I tell her if you open up a restaurant you will kick out alot of people from business. But then I think most Desi moms cook very wellย SubhanAllah!(plus expect their children to do the same.) ๐Ÿ˜•

A friend of my mother was moving to another country (England or Scotland I forgot.) I remember her saying to ย my mother that even if someone adds poison to your pulao I will without hesitation eat it.Yes,she said that ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I remember. Now the funny thing is that everyone agrees to this.I love my mother’s Chicken Pulao.People say she makes it just like my grandmother.

I wish I could take a picture and post it here but I guess I will just take from the net.So here..

maxresdefaultDid you know the word pulao/pilau is in the Oxford dictionary?I remember being so surprised when I saw it in mine.

So My Master Chef Mama ( awh that’s a cute title XD ) has shared her recipe with me which is both awesome and dangerous.Awesome because I can make Pulaou whenever I want with her recipe.Dangerous because it might not always taste the same,it never will I think.AND,what if she says now you make it… since I know the recipe and procedure.I will be deprived of such a lovely dish made by her.Ooh scary, what a tragedy that’ll be! ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Anyway,I have made Chicken Pulao a few times. ย It turned out well.Just that the first time,I forgot to add salt. XD I was so tensed about all the spices,I focused more on that.Oh and I was in the kitchen having my mwuahahah moment as i didn’t add much red chilli power and I like it that way.Funny thing is that when we started eating she( my mother) toldl me she added some chilli powder.

Evil plan,flopped! :/ Puwan puwan puwaaan…

Anyway, let’s not forget that FOOD is a blessing from ALLAH SWT.He gave us so much it,so much of variety, people to make it for us,people who have fed us,been there to make sure that we don’t choke on something, people who would change their whole menu for the night just because the kid is sick and parents don’t want him/her to feel left out.How beautiful is that? โค We can never ย thank Him enough, even we need to pay thanks for this thought that we should thank him.As we are always rewarded for our intentions.SubhnaAllah and Alhamdulillah!

Now,I remembered something from what I have written above.Hehe ๐Ÿ™„

My mother made Pulao once and I obviously very much enjoyed. After dinner,I just sat and was staring out of the window. She came and sat next to me and asked me what I was thinking of.I replied and quickly told her that dinner was yummy. She smiled and told me to Thank ALLAH SWT.She does that almost everytime. If someone says..’hmm this is yummy’She replies to it by saying:ย Allahumma lakal hamd wa lakashukr. Thus,we are also reminded of remembering Allah and thanking him.

Back to the story. So she said to thank Allah and then she asked me ‘Did you ask for it?’I asked..’for what’.She said..’ for the food’ and added,’There are alot of people in the world who don’t have food, you have so much of it.Did you even ask for it?’

This is just a summary of what she said. The way she said it was just touched me.It made me wonder.Breakfast, snacks, lunch, tea time, dinner, desserts. When was the time I asked for it?He gave me so much always. You had donuts and hot chocolate for breakfast? Yummy! But did you ask Allah for it? Did you thank him?

I sometimes feel ashamed of eating so much ( by that I don’t mean over eat,I don’t over eat.I can’t over eat.) Eating so much more than alot of people in the world,I feel like I am a beast who just feast.(That rhymes FYI :P)

Alhamdulillah for all that He has given us.

I nominate…

  1. Sulphur man who wroteย Clueless Guys Dining.
  2. Sana Khan who is making comics like theseย My Comic Life. AND ALSO cooks.
  3. Soaib from Mera Blog.
  4. Saiz from his
  5. Khushboo Singh..ย her blog
  6. Nayaab from Elegies and aches.
  7. Hiba
  8. Ishma Imroz
  9. Spicylife
  10. And everyone who is reading this post at the moment!

If you’re lazy, you can tell me what you like best in the comments.but it’ll just prove that you aren’t accepting the challenge.
