That’s good I think, even if the past holds good memories. I know Dumbledore said, “It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.” But if we replace the word dream with past, the meaning doesn’t change much.
The past is a good place to visit and go for window shopping once in a while, but that’s it.
Good post though, and sorry for preaching.
Wait, you are a Potterhead too? No way!! I like how you quoted Dumbledore. He certainly had great sayings. Harry Potter ftw!! Sorry just had to insert a fangirl moment. And now I shall go back to commenting how philosophical the quote is
I practically survived on Harry Potter during my adolescent years. I sold my textbooks to earn money for buying Potter books as my parents wouldn’t give money. They thought I spent way too much time living in the magic world and didn’t study at all. They probably had a valid reason. But what do they know. They are Muggles, you know.
Are you serious?? Is that true? Did you actually sell your HP books? That is such an inspiring story lol. Haha true Muggles don’t really know the magic. Harry Potter childhood was the best childhood. Not much these days to go back and reread but hopefully after I graduate and before I start working, I want to revisit Hogwarts.
Not HP books. My school textbooks. And yes it’s true. There was a time when my brother and I would have magical duels where we’d use all the spell we knew except the Unforgivable Curses, because you know, we weren’t Death Eaters and such. 😀
Okay I’ll stop spamming this blog before the mysterious owner shooes me away or stuns me with a spell.
Aaah right. Sorry I got confused. That is even more awesome. True HP love. Haha you are lucky to have a brother who was with you in your HP journey. My brothers, unfortunately, claim reading is only for girls.
And yes you are right. I should nerd out on HP elsewhere and stop spamming. Sowwie accidentallyinked. I accidentally spilled too much ink on your comment section teehee.
Your brothers sound exactly like my friends. Well, what’s done is done. Nothing I can do now to change my ‘feminine’ habits. 😀
Oh and sorry accidentallyinked.
And I hate that attitude. That certain stuff is only for girls and certain stuff is only for boys like video games. Your friends and my brothers missed out on HP and I feel sorry for them haha.
Ok the end.
Haha, Dumbledore’s beard would be a legendary one too.
Or you can say what hermione said “What in the name of Merlin’s pants!”
Can replace merlin’s pants with Dumbledore’s I suppose…
XD
By the way, I don’t think there is a limit to long messages, otherwise I would have been censored by WordPress a long time ago. (Or 2weeks ago since I’m only blogging for that long)
Aah if only we could flee from problems.Wouldn’t it be so good? But that is what this dunya is for. A place for trials and tribulations and true freedom will come with death.

Very true though.
I’d written one very sad little poem about dwelling in your past for too long… https://dreamslikebrokenglass.wordpress.com/2015/07/09/the-stories-i-never-told/
😀
Sometimes it does nothing other than to bring you pain…
